Sunrise Village Christian Academy (SVCA)
The Sunrise Village Christian Academy is a KG 1 (pre-Kindergarten) through JSS {junior secondary school final year or 9th grade) day school located on the grounds of Sunrise Village in the remote Tengzug-Santeng community in northern Ghana. The faculty and staff are committed to providing an exceptional Christian education to the more than 120 students who attend our school from the surrounding communities.
Students receive instruction in all subjects required by the Ghana Education System in addition to Bible. Admittance is open to all at a minimal cost, often covered by small donations of farm produce such as corn. Every student receives a free hot lunch each school day. Students participate in a time of praise and worship each week.
SVCA is blessed to have the experience and wisdom of Ms. Jane Manley from Texas. Jane voluntarily spends most of each school term on site as our education specialist. Her guidance has been invaluable in raising the academic standards and day-to-day school operations. She works closely with the faculty and students to help them achieve all learning goals and objectives.
